New Doors

UPVC, COMPOSITE, FRONT, REAR, PATIO, AND FRENCH DOORS

Homeowners place a great emphasis on security, and the installation of new front and back doors can offer a sense of tranquillity. Thanks to technological advancements, contemporary doors can now be equipped with strong locking systems and additional security measures, including multipoint locking mechanisms and reinforced frames. These security upgrades make it considerably more difficult for potential intruders to gain access to your home. By investing in a high quality front or back door, you not only deter burglars but also provide an additional safeguard for your loved ones and possessions.

A fresh entrance door can also incorporate elements such as spyholes, surveillance cameras, and intelligent locks, enabling you to remotely supervise and manage entry to your residence. These intelligent security characteristics provide convenience and extra protection, granting you full authority over who gains access to your premises.

Investing in a new door offers several advantages, one of which is the potential for improved energy efficiency. Older doors often lack proper insulation, resulting in heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. This not only causes discomfort but also leads to higher energy bills. Modern external doors are specifically designed to ensure optimal thermal insulation. They are constructed using advanced materials and insulation technology, effectively preventing heat transfer and maintaining a comfortable temperature in your home throughout the year. By reducing heat loss, a new front door can help decrease your energy consumption and save money on heating and cooling expenses.

Energy-efficient front doors not only help save energy but also play a role in promoting environmental sustainability. By cutting down on energy usage, you can lower your carbon footprint and make a beneficial difference for the environment.

Make sure to take into account important factors like durability, maintenance, energy efficiency, security, and aesthetics when deciding on the best material for your doors, whether it be a composite, French or bi-fold door. Contact us for further information.

Warm Roof

WARM ROOF SYSTEMS

Turn your conservatory into a functional space all year round by adding a warm roof. Say goodbye to the uncomfortable temperatures that make your conservatory unusable in the summer and winter. With a warm roof, you’ll experience improved comfort and energy efficiency, solving common conservatory problems. Traditional conservatory roofs are usually made of glass or polycarbonate, but a warm roof is built with solid and well-insulated materials. This smart design solves issues like overheating in the summer and chilly draughts in the winter.

A warm roof is specifically crafted to offer exceptional insulation, ensuring that your conservatory remains at a comfortable temperature throughout the year. This enables you to fully relish your conservatory, regardless of whether it’s bitterly cold or hot outside. Additionally, a warm roof efficiently combats condensation, reducing the likelihood of damp and the formation of mould. A warm roof offers a great advantage by enhancing the energy efficiency of your conservatory. With its excellent insulation, a warm roof can help trap heat in the winter and keep the area cool in the summer. This results in lower energy costs and decreased carbon footprint. You can relish in a cosy conservatory without any concerns about the environment or your expenses.

Say goodbye to dealing with the unpleasantness of extreme temperatures in your conservatory. A warm roof will provide you with a steady and pleasant temperature throughout the year. No matter the weather outside, your conservatory will become a cosy sanctuary perfect for unwinding, hosting guests, or indulging in your favourite hobbies.

In addition to controlling temperature, a warm roof provides excellent noise insulation as well. This creates a calm environment in your conservatory, shielding you from the hustle and bustle of traffic or any other disturbances outside. Whether you’re unwinding with a good book, working remotely, or simply taking a break, a warm roof ensures a tranquil space throughout the year.

Beautiful Orangeries

BESPOKE ORANGERIES

Orangeries provide more than just functionality; they bring a sense of timeless grace and sophistication to British homes. With their distinctive architectural elements, such as decorative columns, lantern roofs, and intricate embellishments, orangeries emanate an air of refined allure that cannot be duplicated by any other type of home extension. Regardless of whether you own a traditional or contemporary property, an orangery can be custom-designed to harmoniously integrate with the existing architecture, resulting in a unified and visually captivating space.

One of the main reasons homeowners choose to add an orangery to their homes is the abundance of natural light it brings. The large windows and glass panels allow the sunlight to flood in, creating a bright and airy environment. This not only enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the space but also has numerous health benefits. Natural light has been proven to boost mood, improve productivity, and regulate sleep patterns. Moreover, with its seamless connection to the outdoors, an orangery provides a unique opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of your garden or surrounding landscape.

An orangery is versatile. Whether you’re in need of a dining area, study area for the children, or simply a place to relax and unwind, an orangery can be customised to meet your specific needs. The open and spacious design allows for easy furniture arrangement, making it a versatile space that can adapt to your ever-changing lifestyle. You can transform it into a lively entertainment area, or a yoga studio. The possibilities are endless!

Investing in an orangery is not just a means of expanding your living space, but also a wise financial choice. The inclusion of an orangery has the potential to considerably raise the value of your property. Simon our salesman was very friendly, not pushy and understood our budget. 4 windows replaced and the survey also revealed we needed some extra work we weren’t aware of to keep our house safe. John and Kallum our fitters done a great job, cleaned up well after themselves, were polite and done the job in good time. Many thanks again, Matt and Katie

Owen was a great salesman. Very polite and very friendly without being pushy or over bearing he secured the deal. Was advised of a 2-3 day install on the entire house. Obviously things run over and in the end it eventually went to about 2 weeks due to only working 4 days per week.We asked for 30 min notification prior to turning up on three separate occasions and not once did that happen. One day they didn't turn up at all. Once installed they looked great from a distance but when you got closer it was a mess. I'd probably be hopeless at using silicone - but so was whoever did this one. I think 3 out of 6 windows needed silicone taking off and redoing. After the panelling was added and re silicone it did look so much better and they wasted no time in getting things sorted out once notified. The welds on the frames are somewhat visible where the white has bled on the top of the grey. Most frames covered in transfer . Which all eventually can be filled in with a paint pen and the transfer can be rubbed off with a bit of elbow grease. They shouldn't really leave manufacturers before this is done but that's just my opinion. Some frames were scraped and scratched and handles scratched . These were flagged and these was rectified.Workmen we're polite and friendly and very easy to get on with. They cleaned up after themselves every shift and worked hard to get things done. The back door wouldn't lock at all. Had to leave completely unlocked overnight until someone could come and check it. Had to be readjusted and is now fine. One of the panes of glass on the patio door 'shattered' during installation so we waited around 4 days after the installation was complete for a replacement. Once again no 30 min warning just turned up at the door. As soon as this piece of glass was fitted - like literally 2 whole minutes of leaving the house - the phone then rang from the office asking to settle the invoice . Which is completely and utterly rude to be asking for money after all the crap that went wrong without checking the pane.Good job we didn't pay as the replacement glass we got had a massive scratch on the inside of the double glazing to which we waited another 2 to 3 days for that replacement. Finally almost 3 weeks from start date we was at 100% , the windows and doors look brilliant now and it was a definite improvement over how it was before we started. Ultimately when you spend this much money you just expect things to be perfect and right the first time. I can't help but think we could have saved a couple thousand pounds and got the same result if not better somewhere else. It's unfair to give any lower than a 3 and I can't find reason to give any more also.So I would say use at your own peril but please please check the work over and over again. In 20 years time - if they last that long - I probably wouldn't use this company again unfortunately and I wouldn't recommend to a friend or family . Maybe we just got a bad wave of hiccups based on the other reviews but that's my personal opinion.
