All opening LDG Hybrid Windows elements can be also be supplied with glazing bars if so required.
LDG Hybrid Windows are available in a number of different outward opening formats including top-guided, top-swing, side-hung and side-guided elements.
LDG Hybrid Windows are supplied as standard with high quality Espagnolette handles and a frame dept of 115 mm. In addition to these outward opening Hybrid Windows, Lancashire Double Glazing also produces a range of traditional side hung "Dannebrog" and Cottage Windows with inside profiling on all mullions.

Top guided
The ironmongery of top-guided windows is mounted in the top of the window's side sash and jamb. When opening the window, the bottom part of the sash slides outwards, while the top part slides down along the sides. The window is operated with an Espagnolette handle mounted at the centre of the bottom sash.
When opening the sash with the handle, the window can be secured in a ventilation position of approx. 10-20 mm allowing secure ventilation in adverse weather. For larger open positions the sash is held by means of the built-in friction brake, however, this friction brake should not be used to fix the sash in a fixed position in windy weather.
Top swing
With a top reversible hinge the window sash can be turned 180° so that the outside glazing can be cleaned from the inside.
The window is operated with an Espagnolette handle mounted at the centre of the bottom sash and each Top Swing Window is supplied as standard with a child-proof lock. When the window is opened, the sash can be secured in a ventilation position of 1-2 cm.
